March 25th: After ground improvement work was completed, waterproof sheeting was laid.


April 1st: Rebar inspection was conducted


The thickness and spacing of the rebars were checked.


April 2nd: Concrete pouring for the foundation slab was completed.


Metal fittings for bolting the columns were also installed.






April 5th: Inspected the lumber processing plant and confirmed the materials to be used.



April 12th: The roof framing was completed without incident.













April 16th: Regular meeting was held.The temporary toilet was placed as far away from the neighboring house as possible. I can feel the thoughtfulness of the construction company here as well. It's important.


April 19th: Scene of the government's structural inspection.


April 19th: The performance of the metal fittings can be determined by their color.It's convenient for construction and inspection.






1st floor: A spacious area where you can see the south side from the north side across the courtyard. The carpenters are also working on the base for the curtain rail. I was surprised that they installed such a solid base! Good work. Even very thick curtain rails can be installed. If it were my favorite roller blinds, a base one-quarter of this size would be fine.

April 23rd: An emergency on-site meeting was held.There are several things that need to be decided quickly, so we increased the number of meetings.

April 30th: We discussed how to check the lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets.

On May 14th, we will go to the site and check the location of each outlet, switch, and lighting fixture one by one.



May 5th: I took a picture of the roof.The top is the roof of the second floor.The bottom is the roof of the first floor. The roofing has been carefully done so that the excess on both sides is the same. Of course...






May 14th: As planned, we checked the location of the lighting, outlets, and switches. There were many things that were different from what was planned in the drawings, and I felt the importance of final confirmation with the homeowner on site.






May 19th: Site supervision.Confirmed that the insulation material is F☆☆☆☆. Of course... We also discussed the materials around the doors and windows with the construction company in advance. We decided to make a proposal on the 21st.


May 21st: Regular site meeting.The insulation material had been properly packed into the ceiling space on the second floor. We also checked the materials around the doors and windows. On this day, the homeowner also went up to the second floor to check the progress.






Although it is only a 1-tsubo (approx. 3.3 sq m) open space, it feels very large.I think that is because the space has become truly rich.


June 4th: Regular site meeting. The staircase installation is complete.
Now it is safe to go up to the second floor.


June 9th: Regular site meeting.Trees have been planted in the courtyard. It is getting nicer and nicer even in places the designer is unaware of.This is the symbolic tree as seen from the built-in desk in the study/utility room. It makes living in the home even more enjoyable.


June 18th: Site supervision. The wood deck has finally been installed. It is a resin wood deck, so no maintenance is required. However, the treatment of this hole needs to be considered. What if an animal accidentally goes in?


Handover is in 10 days. The finishing touches are in the final stretch.


June 24th: Government final inspection. The government final inspection was completed without any problems.


The difference between the top and bottom photos is whether the shutter in the center is open or closed. I think it's usually closed for security reasons, but I hope you'll open it occasionally and have garden parties or something.



June 25th: Client inspection & designer inspection . We spent about two hours inspecting the water supply and drainage, the condition of the underfloor area, the condition of the doors and windows and finishes, and the exterior.

About 10 items of corrective work were required, but I think the client was satisfied.


June 29th: The completion inspection certificate was issued by the local government. The handover of the building has been set for July 9th.I hope everything goes smoothly until the end.I plan to upload the completed photos separately .
