Customer Feedback

Since the handover, I've been busy with various procedures and work, and I'm still in the midst of moving, so I apologize for the delay in responding. Since then, I've successfully completed all the banking procedures, and I finally feel like this house is truly mine. It's

been five days since my family and I started living in this house, and thanks to you, we're enjoying fulfilling days, and I'm even writing this email from our newly completed home.

When I think back to when the old house was still on this land, I'm filled with many emotions. I found Mr. Tsukahara's website through the internet and immediately went to his office. In this day and age, it may seem a bit late, but I'm grateful that the internet was a tool that allowed me to meet Mr. Tsukahara by chance.

I myself had very little interest in house builders, so before meeting Mr. Tsukahara, I contacted about 15 architectural firms and considered them from among them. Looking back now, I feel that the reason I ended up working with Mr. Tsukahara was because Mr. Tsukahara and the core of his work, including his designs, are sincere, honest, and enjoyable.

I like Mr. Tsukahara's unique square lines and the space of the house that can coexist and thrive with nature, and I was also attracted to the courtyard house that only Mr. Tsukahara could create.

Initially, I didn't even own land, and as a self-employed individual, securing a mortgage was a significant challenge. Mr. Tsukahara helped me come up with numerous plans, and although I felt discouraged and almost gave up many times along the way, he flexibly adjusted the process according to each situation. I still get teary-eyed thinking that even someone like me can successfully build and live in a newly constructed detached house.

He also advised me not to be overly fixated on unnecessary size when building a low-cost home, and proceeding in that direction was the right decision. Despite the total floor area being only about 23 tsubo (approximately 76 square meters), the porch, entrance, bathroom, and dressing room are spacious and comfortable. I am impressed that even in spaces that might otherwise feel cramped, a little extra space gives a sense of fulfillment.

My family and I feel closer together, and it's surprising how much space there is, considering it includes two children's rooms and a study. It feels much larger and more fulfilling than the numerical area suggests.

Despite the limited budget, we were able to have solid wood flooring in the study, built-in display shelves and bookshelves, and our long-desired courtyard house with a fully galvanized exterior and a clock installed in the house was also fulfilled. Thank you for making that happen.

Even in this short time living here, we've noticed many things, and we've come to realize that ordinary houses have a lot of wasted dead space, and that if they are designed efficiently, they can become an even more fulfilling space.

Mr. Tsukahara's courtyard house has fostered a strong connection among our family, and our children are squealing with delight every day. Our daughter, who used to be afraid to go to the toilet alone in our previous rental house, now sleeps alone in her own room and goes to the toilet alone, and we are amazed at her independence in such a short time.

It's raining right now, and we've realized that we don't usually look outside while staying inside the house, but looking outside and being close to nature brings us joy, and even on rainy days, just looking outside is fun.

There were many twists and turns before the house was completed, but all of that is reflected in the form of this house and in our family's feelings, and when we ask our 2-year-old son, 8-year-old daughter, and wife, they all say they love Mr. Tsukahara's house. We are so glad we asked Mr. Tsukahara to build our house.

Throughout the process of building our house, there wasn't a day that went by that my husband and I didn't mention Mr. Tsukahara's name, and now we miss our bi-weekly meetings. I wish I could have talked to him more when we handed over the keys, but we've made plans to meet at the courtyard next time, so I'm looking forward to that and will work hard.

I remember eating gyoza from Ohsho together for lunch, but next time let's have a barbecue or yakiniku that's even better than Ohsho's gyoza on the courtyard of this courtyard house (lol).

From the building owner

Thank you so much for your lengthy email so soon after moving in. I remember you contacting me about a year ago, saying you had a small plot of land and a limited budget. It's not a small plot of land at all, but the 1-meter setback requirement was a source of worry when creating the plan. I'm

sure you'll experience many things as you settle in, and I'd love to hear about them when we meet next time. I look forward to continuing our relationship.
