My first impression was that the existing building was quite grand. However,
since it had deteriorated significantly, the client requested to demolish
it and build a new one.

5/10 – The ground-breaking ceremony (Jichinsai) was successfully completed.

2 26 – Conducted deep mixing method for ground improvement (columnar stabilization).
 3/2 – Poured leveling concrete (Sutekon) and confirmed the layout.

3/6 – Rebar inspection.

3/15 – Regular site meeting.


3/21 – Roof-raising (Muneage / Framework completion).

3/30 – Regular site meeting.


4/4 – Roof framing and hardware inspection completed.

4/12 – Installed insulation under the first-floor deck.

4/19 – Currently installing cedar flooring (30mm thick) on the second floor.

5/8 – Insulation work for each room is almost complete.

5/11 – Plasterboard installation for the second-floor rooms is about halfway
finished.
 Confirmed the locations of electrical outlets and switches with the client before installing the plasterboard in the first-floor dining/kitchen area.

5/18 – Finished installing the ceiling for the LDK (Living, Dining, and Kitchen) area.


5/25 – Checked the roof; a vent has been installed on the upper ridge.
 6/2 – Completed installing drywall (gypsum board) for the walls and ceiling base.

 6/16 – Applied joint compound (putty) to prep the walls before wallpapering.


6/27 – Cleaning in progress prior to final handover.
